What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant/Receptionist position at AEC Electric?
As our Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Accounting team. You'll be responsible for assisting with employment applications, onboarding, new hire documentation and more. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an office environment, a great attitude and bilingual.
Responsibilities:
· Answer all incoming telephone calls and direct them as necessary
· Exhibit tact in handling confidential matters
· Receive, open, distribute and file incoming mail/letters and documents as required
· Maintain an organized filing system
· Assisting with employment applications, onboarding and new hire documentation
· Assist with maintenance of employee I-9 forms
· Preparation of payroll / timesheets
· Translating all notices/letters/forms sent to employees into Spanish for the organization
· Assist in administrative functions as required
· Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency required
· Thorough knowledge of offices practices, procedures, and proper usage of office equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
