Job Description
AECOM has an immediate need for a CADD/BIM Specialist to support our North Carolina Water Business Line. The position can be based out of Raleigh, NC, or Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:
Works under minimal direction
Will utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM skills to produce designs for Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater projects
Performs CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production.
Performs applications, scale and, edit assignments involving the use of computer-aided design
Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software.
Create record drawings based on construction marked-up drawings.
Will be responsible for meeting project deadlines
Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BS in Architecture or related degree plus two (2 )years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
Professional experience with AutoCAD and BIM
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of relevant experience in water, wastewater and, stormwater.
Experience working with Civil 3D and Revit (or the willingness to learn)
Process mechanical drafting experience is highly preferred
Pipeline drafting experience and utility relocation projects are highly preferred
General Knowledge of other disciplines
Resourceful and self-motivated
