The Merchandise Manager works directly with our sourcing team to analyze trends and forecast demand for various products. He or she will also be responsible for coordinating with the Sales and Marketing teams on product promotions, updating the company's inventory levels and maximizing profits. The successful candidate will be organized, driven and have experience in the retail industry. He or she will be comfortable working as part of a team and also understands the importance of communicating effectively with our community of global buyers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cash and inventory levels to ensure that merchandise is available to customers when they want it.
- Work to increase sales of merchandise.
- Ensure customers have the right products at the right prices.
- Evaluate trends in retail industry.
- Pay attention to details.
- Be courteous.
- Listen well.
- Understand customer needs and wants.
- Communicate effectively with employees and customers.
