What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Technician position at Aero Energy?
Since 1929 Aero Energy has been a commercial and residential fuel provider offering 24 hour HVAC service and sales. We currently have an opening for a 1st shift, full time Fleet Maintenance Technician. We have a fleet of over 200 vehicles operating in four states. We perform almost all maintenance at our New Oxford, PA location. We currently use a variety of diagnostic software including Bendix A-com, Cummins Insite, Volvo Premium Tech Tool, Allison DOC and Service Maxx. We provide all of the major tools including a state of the art Hytorc cordless torque tool for commercial tire removal and installation, wireless portable column lifts, two dedicated bays with lifts, Protrak QCT laser alignment system as well as other tools to make safe, efficient repairs on equipment.
The applicant must meet the following requirements:
- PA State Inspection License (preferred but not required)
- CDL Class B minimum
- Hand tools applicable to this trade
- Clean Driving Record
- Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing/repairing medium and heavy duty equipment
- Availability to work overtime as needed
- Willingness to continue education as needed for various required certifications
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately and independently diagnose/troubleshoot equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance at required intervals
- Ability to repair all aspects of tank trucks, pumps, meters and equipment
- Report necessary repairs to management for approval
- Use fleet management software to document all repairs

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
