Job Description:
Objectives:
To cut high quality knit fabrics using both robotic and manual equipment.
Responsibilities:
Operate cutting equipment, including hand tools and computer controlled cutting instruments to a high degree of accuracy and precision.
Receive and schedule work orders for timely completion.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment. This includes OSHA mandated safety procedures when using equipment, chemicals, and raw materials.
Review equipment maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
Clean, adjust, and maintain all cutting equipment. Repairs are to be limited to the individual skill levels.
Ensure all consumables, cutting blades, cutting paper, and other related supplies are in-stock, organized, and ready for usage.
Perform detailed quality checks on fabric with focus on imperfections, grain direction, and face orientation.
Organize finished cut parts as required for kitting and secondary manufacturing steps.
Qualifications:
Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
The ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift for arriving shipments.
Bright, Kind, and Goal Oriented
Can-Do attitude and are willing to be flexible within your role.
The ability to be on your feet 8-9 hours per day and lift 50 lbs.
Minimum 18 years of age for full-time work.
