AeroTEC is currently seeking a talented Program Manger to join our team.
AeroTEC’s Program Execution Office (PEO) is primarily involved in developing the strategy for, and managing the execution of all projects AeroTEC works on. PEO Division is responsible for taking direction and inputs from our customers, developing program strategy and work plans (schedules, budgets, resource and task management, and customer communication), creating the road map for the AeroTEC team to follow to meet customer goals.
The Program Manager’s responsibility consists of supporting management of AeroTEC programs through the program lifecycle to achieve or surpass the capability, schedule, and financial performance of customer programs. This position acts as primary customer contact for a program’s status, deliverables, and cross-disciplinary technical leadership, across a multitude of external contacts and internal team members to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met. This role requires the significant exercise of independent discretion and judgment in matters of significance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Communicate with potential customers to determine scope of project for desired services, timeline, and cost.
- Provide business guidance and cross functional integration of engineering, test, manufacturing, supply chain & contracts.
- Conduct internal reviews to determine program staffing to ensure technical skills are paired with technical needs at the appropriate time.
- Create proposals including schedule, deliverables, and cost in response to customer Statement of Work ensuring contract conditions minimize AeroTEC risk.
- Develop & maintain integrated master schedule and budget for large scale, complex programs including design, manufacturing, modification, and test programs.
- Develop & maintain control systems that accurately measure progress of schedule, risk, and technical performance with sufficient time for corrective action should issues arise.
- Lead and integrate the enhancement of program execution processes to enable efficient performance
- Conduct program status reporting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify, and mitigate potential cost overruns and schedule delays before they are realized.
- Communicate routinely with Internal and External Customers (peers, stakeholders, senior and executive leadership).
- Manage relationship with customers throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Level Requirements (Minimum):
Education
- Four (4) year degree in Engineering or equivalent Technical Program Management experience
Experience
- 5 years of relevant program management competencies and fundamentals
- 3 years in aerospace engineering environment
- Working knowledge of aircraft certification, design, manufacturing, modification, test desired

- Travel 10% (flying and driving) to various international and domestic worksites may be required.
- Driving personal vehicle for errands required. State driver’s license and clean driving record required.
