What are the responsibilities and job description for the A&P Mechanic position at Aerotek?
Aerotek is currently accepting resumes for an individual to fill a full-time position as an A&P Technician in Mosinee, Wisconsin.
Our client is a full-service fixed base operator (FBO), providing aircraft fuel sales, light & heavy aircraft maintenance, avionics repair and installation,
aircraft management services, flight training, aircraft rental, Discovery Flights and line services.
Position
A&P Technician
Pay Rate
$30-$40 per hour (1st shift)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
? Utilize comprehensive test equipment and special tools to complete aircraft inspections.
? Utilize knowledge of computer systems to research aircraft inspections, repair criteria and/or parts
requirements.
? Utilize technical knowledge to repair aircraft discrepancies efficiently, while properly documenting all work
performed.
? Comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of aircraft electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
? Comply with Aircraft Service Bulletins, Airworthiness, Directive and FAA regulations as required.
? Aircraft engine removal, installation, rigging and adjustment of engine controls.
? Re-fuel, de-fuel and testing of aircraft fuel systems and components.
? Aircraft pressurization checks.
? Aircraft engine run-up and taxi checks.
? Aircraft sheet metal repair.
? Must be familiar with and be able to read and understand maintenance manuals, wiring schematics and have at
minimum basic knowledge and experience with general computer applications.
? Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time.
? Assist in customer scheduled related maintenance requests to include but not limited to the following:
annual/100-hour and progressive inspections.
? Other duties and tasks as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must haves
- 5 plus years of Aircraft Maintenance experience
- A&P License
- Will look at candidate with 3-5 years of experience.
-Candidates will need own tools.
Work Environment:
All work will be done inside hanger. Hanger is temp controlled very comfortable. This job is very independent. There will be some training but candidate will be expected to hit the ground running. This hanger is located at the Central Wisconsin Airport. This is a small shop and team. There is flexibility with the shift.
