Aerospace company URGENTLY HIRING for Assemblers in Carson, CA
Description:
• Performs precision assembly on production aerospace parts, including attaching parts together by drilling riveting, and/or bonding according to customer specifications
• Responsible for following drawings and detailed work instructions to assemble high-quality aerospace components
• Self-inspects their work to ensure quality defects are mitigated and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and/or unusual conditions to the Assembly Lead
• Utilizes a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as: dial indicators, calipers and indicating micrometers to obtain proper assembly-build requirements
• Maintains dimensional accuracy on assemblies utilizing torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges, and other measuring devices. Required to work from assembly instructions, both written and oral
• Works and follows process specifications, work orders, blueprints, schedules, schematics, layout & modification sheets, engineering orders and verbal/written instruction
