Description:

Local General Contractor hiring for skilled and unskilled labor. They specialize in asphalt, mass grading, concrete and site utilities.

Currently they have a need for several Heavy Equipment Operators and multiple heavy equipment operator apprentices! Apprentices will be on equipment starting week 1! The job sites are all over the greater charlotte area. Must have reliable transportation. Operators will be utilized for a variety of tasks on the construction site. Their main responsibilities will be to operate a bull dozer and an excavator to fine grade building pads. Operators need to be willing and able to do whatever it takes to get the job done including getting out of the operator chair and to do labor work when necessary. They will also help out on the road and curb crew as needed. This will include basic shovel work (as needed). This is an all hands on deck type of company!

Seeking the following heavy equipment experience:

• Skid Steer
• Roller
• Track hoe
• Dozer
• Articulated Dump Truck
• Front End Loader

For apprentices, you must have a minimum of 3-6 months experience in field construction. This can come from any field, but must have experience working on a construction site and crew.
