What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Aerotek?
In search of dependable machine operators that focus on safety an precision during working hours. This is an entry/mid level machine operator position and there will be specific on the job training. Hours will be M-F 7am-3:30pm, with overtime available!
In this position, you will complete the following tasks:
- Loading pieces into machinery used to put holes and hardware into corrugated steel pipe used for culverts
- Lining up pieces to ensure production
- Performing quality inspections on the equipment
- Maintain accurate daily production reports
- Ability to change tooling corrugations according to print
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Any Metal fabrication machinery experience is ideal
- Any experience working with other pipe machines such as drainage pipe, pvc pipes, rebar machines, etc.
- Experience loading and unloading product onto metal forming machine
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds throughout shift
- Knowledge of overhead crane
