What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Aerotek?
Aerotek is hiring maintenance workers for placement in a distribution center with America's largest e-commerce retailer. We are hiring for positions throughout the Reliability Maintenance and Engineering department; mechanical experience is necessary but extensive training is provided. A good fit for this role would be someone who has at least 6mo. experience in automotive, industrial, HVAC, or machining fields.
Description:
A successful candidate in this role will be able to work both independently and with other plant technicians to perform preventative and predictive maintenance. Day to day, mechanics will be expected to troubleshoot issues and perform predictive maintenance on plant equipment, as well as assist with equipment installation and general maintenance.
Responsibilities:

Provide support to the manufacturing teams by repairing industrial equipment including:
- electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems
- Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical & mechanical schematics, block diagrams and flow charts
- Posses working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Industrial welding experience is a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional experience in industrial maintenance or related fields
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Computer literacy

- lock out, tag out principles, OSHA safety standards, MSDS/EPA etc
