What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Aerotek?
THIS IS A 1 Month Contract with possibility of extension.
Description:
- Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
- Ensuring all incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.
- Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
- Storing cargo in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets.
- Managing inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory.
- Picking part from rack systems and storage locations.
- Utilizing ERP/SAP system for data entry.
- Kitting, compiling individual items or component parts into a ready to ship package.
- Operating warehouse equipment/machinery.
- Tracking supply levels and regularly submitting purchasing recommendations.
