What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at Aerotek?
Now Hiring Heavy Mechanical Assemblers!
Heavy Assembly
- Utilize hand and power tools to construct final assemblies
- Operate Cranes and hoists to position heavy sub assemblies
- Work in teams of two on project based assembly
- Roughly 4 cores per radiator and 1 fan
- These assemblies are large, so must be comfortable with heights
Skills: mechanical assembly, blue reading, overhead crane operation
Qualifications: Mechanical assembly, Power tool experience, Experience with measuring instruments
1st shift: 5:30am - 1:30pm M - F
2nd shift: 1:30pm - 12:00am M - TH (1.50 shift premium)
