Our is a well known and respected business with 45 employees and a 60,000 square-foot facility. They have been in business for over 50 years and work with a lot of companies in the area to help with their custom work. They've come a long way, evolving from a small weld shop into a precision sheet metal and large weldments facility with added capabilities
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
Responsibilities:
Candidates in the job will be working in a custom job shop welding environment welding metal parts together according to layouts, blueprints, and work orders. Welders need to be able to set their own welders, wire size according to material thickness and grade. They will also be inspecting their own work before sending their part to the next step of the process.
Requirements:
- Ability to do basic shop math (Add and subtract down to 1/16 or 1/32)
- Able to read blueprints for custom projects
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Fill out inspection sheets when finished with welds
1st Shift: Mon - Fri, 7am - 3:30pm, with OT on back end. They typically don't work past 4:30pm
Compensation:
- Starting at up to 27/Hr.
- Weekly Pay!
