Responsibilities:
§ Greeting patients friendly and professionally in person and on the phone.
§ Answering phones, making appointments and properly referring questions and issues.
§ Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling.
§ Print out any copies approved for distribution to the patient or a third party following HIPAA rules for verifying the release of information is done in a legal manner.
§ Check patients out while entering and collecting co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance accurately into electronic health record and practice management software..
§ Printing faxes from fax server and accurate distribution to co-workers.
§ Assisting with patient check in when needed
§ Performs administrative tasks , including form completion, referrals and patient education material. Scanning daily patient record information while accurately filing into EHR
§ Perform other tasks as requested by practice manager or physicians
