The Role
The Account Manager will reach business targets through telephone sales and communication skills. This individual will also grow logistics sales by following up on sales leads, dormant customers, prospect lists, and ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.
- WARM leads, follow up call to prospects
- Upsell Current Customers additional services
- Cold-Call prospects generated by external lead sources
- Overcome objections of prospective customers.
- Emphasize service features, advantages, and benefits to customers & prospects.
- Generate and organize sales leads. Provide status reports as requested
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the sales database.
- Maintain daily customer relationships to assigned accounts, acting as primary contact and re-directing to other departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Our Expectations
- Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales goals
- Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and networking skills
- 2 years of direct work experience in inside sales
- Experience in the transportation/logistics industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and maintain established sales quotas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid experience in lead qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
- Self -motivated and a strong work ethic.
- Tech savvy; Google Suite experience a plus.
