Fast growing company in the Functional Medicine field is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
- Supervise course enrollment specialists to ensure sales increase
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- You consistently hold your people accountable to perform the fundamental daily activity that leads to their success.
- Enhancing the lead generation process to drive sales, in collaboration with the marketing team
- You own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of course enrollment specialists
- You must excel at identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or Sales Executive
- Hands-on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
- You must have strong Sales Operations and IT/technical skills to support your sales team with CRM, and software used in a remote setting.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
- Must have prior success leading a diverse staff of at least 5 remote salespeople
- Must excel in coaching, growing, and motivating your salespeople to overachieve their personal goals, and you must understand how to tie their individual goals to the company goals.
- Must have success in recruiting and growing sales teams, as well as, leading both seasoned salespeople and onboarding new hires.
- You lead by example and understand how to help and coach your team to make cold calls and prospect in a business-to-consumer environment.
This is a remote position.
Compensation is base, plus bonuses and commissions. Excellent earning potential
