What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Coordinator position at AffiniPay?
We're hiring...a lot. And that means every day, we have multiple candidates coming through our doors and meeting with us virtually! Entering into our next growth phase (#bettertogether), we are looking to add an additional Recruiting Coordinator to our team.
As our Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll partner with our recruiters and coordinate each step of a candidate's interview cycle from start to finish - ensuring a smooth, professional and enjoyable experience for all candidates and interview teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning the ins and outs of a high-functioning recruiting process and how to build strong teams. Partnering with a wide variety of teams, you will make an immediate impact across the company through the relationships you build internally and externally.
What You’ll Do
Candidate Experience:
- Organize all facets of a candidate’s interview process: scheduling interviews (on-site and remote), managing communication workflow, and coordinating travel/reimbursement
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience with timely communication throughout the full process
- Champion, role model and grow our cultural values as we continue to scale!
Interviewer Training:
- Assist TA Leadership and Recruiters in managing interviewer training
- Support interviewers through organizing continuous training, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process
Process Improvement/Recruiter Support:
- Work closely with recruiters and other recruiting coordinators to improve processes and current practices
- Establish relationships with candidates, hiring teams and great People teams to initiate projects of impact to refine our processes and improve our delivery
- Help reach hiring goals by collaborating effectively within teams and across departments (including recruiting team, interviewers, HR, business operations, executive assistants, and more)
- Make a direct impact on the recruitment process by dedicating time weekly to sourcing candidates to Recruiters for open positions
- Assist in planning and executing of recruiting events; Career Fairs, Campus Events, Hackathons, Etc.
What We’re Looking For
- Hiring manager care and communication: Strong scheduling skills with an understanding of hiring manager preferences. Ability to communicate effectively and own the coordination for Talent Acquisition
- Business discernment: Understands how Hiring Manager’s team operates, open positions fit within the team, and the detailed recruiting process from beginning to end.
- Data-driven: Able to understand relevant recruiting data and ensure accurate and timely data entry into Applicant Tracking System and other recruiting systems. Proficient in generating reports from recruiting systems.
- Candidate centric: Ability to represent the company, and maintains effective communication through the interview process with candidates at different levels. Provides onsite high touch candidate experience.
- Process management/maximizing technology: Ability to navigate hiring processes with speed, accuracy and high data integrity. Understands key recruiting metrics.
- Project management: Balances interview scheduling, event logistics and long term projects/goals. Participates in projects with ownership over key results.
- Autonomy & sound judgment: Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, & tact within defined procedures/practices to navigate the hiring process, effectively resolving issues.
Must-Haves
- 1 years of high-level coordination and/or cold outreach
- Proven experience as an extremely organized and structured team member
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace ambiguity and adapt quickly to changes
- Ability to be creative and resourceful with minimal to no guidance
- Ability to think on your feet, but with enough humility to ask questions
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Greenhouse ATS
- Experience with Google Suite
- Experience with various virtual meeting platforms (We use Google Meet and Zoom)
