HR Coordinator

The Affinity Group is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our Southeast and Central regions. This position will be based at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC and will report to the region HR Business Partner.
Who We're Looking For:
The HR Coordinator will work closely with the HR Business Partner and Payroll & Benefits Specialist, overseeing a multi-state workforce of 150 employees. This position will lead the Recruiting and Onboarding functions as well as provide general administrative support. The right candidate will be resourceful, organized and have a strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:
- Recruitment:
- Posts job openings in ATS System (JazzHR) and to industry specific job boards
- Maintains position descriptions and job postings
- Supports hiring manager with reviewing candidate resumes
- Conducts initial phone screens and coordinates scheduling of candidate interviews
- Ensures timely follow up with candidates
- Sends candidate offer letters
- Onboarding:
- Enters new hire into HRIS system (UKG)
- Processes new hire background checks, onboarding paperwork, and I-9’s
- Drafts and sends internal new hire announcements
- Coordinates new hire training
- HR Administration:
- Processes employee promotions, new hires, and terminations in Office 365 database
- Assists with HRIS administration as needed
- Maintains electronic personnel files, employee directories and org charts
- Assists employees with general HR or policy inquiries
- Assists with organizing employee engagement events
- Acts as resource and back-up to payroll, benefits, and accounting functions
- Works on special projects as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources
- Recruiting and onboarding experience is a must
- Experience with UKG or other HRIS system preferred
- Experience with JazzHR or other ATS system is preferred
- Experience with Adobe Sign preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

What to expect:
- Typical work week: Mon thru Fri (8 A.M. to 5 P.M.) in office
