Contract Duration: 13 weeks contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $27-$32/hr

CLIENT OVERVIEW

Position Summary:
- Coordinates recruitment and employee relations activities for assigned departments within the hospital.
- Recruits, screens, interviews, and refers qualified candidates that best suit job vacancies.
- Communicates effectively with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinates the completion and collection of all required employment documentation.
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
- Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.
- Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Completing paperwork for new hires.
- Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
- Managing internship programs.
- Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
- Providing recruitment reports to team managers.
- Recruiting for Medical Assistants, some clerical and support roles.
- Potentially hybrid remote/onsite later on after all access is given and fully trained on systems and processes.
Qualifications
- The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
- Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
- Experience with Healthcare preferred.
- The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good decision-making skills.
- A working knowledge of employment law and legislation.
- Previous recruiting experience required
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5 Years preferred.
- Requirements: Healthcare and/or Hospital setting experience preferred; High volume, End to End Recruitment; Experience hiring Nurses, Surgical Technicians, Instrument Technicians, OR PCT.
