NATURE OF WORK:
Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the Boarder Barn and Children's Farm. This includes cleaning out stalls and animal enclosures, cleaning animal bedding and discarded food waste, feeding animals. Must be comfortable around large horses, large birds, pigs, goats, and other farm animals. Work is performed primarily outdoors and at times performed in inclement weather.
WORK LOCATION: Children's Farm and Boarder Barn, Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake, 3401 S. Hiawassee Road, Orlando 32835.
Minimum Requirements
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions with some experience in the care and feeding farm animals. High school diploma desired. May be required to work on weekends and holidays. Must pass comprehensive background check and polygraph.
