JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The College of Agricultural Sciences seeks to hire a part-time program assistant for the Program Manager and Show Manager of the Ag Progress Days Office at Penn State. Responsible for data management and entry, exhibitor registration process, general public inquiries and office support functions to ensure the successful delivery of the event. Office located on the University Park Campus, until August.
This position will start immediately may work up to 15 hours a week through October, additional hours during pre-show and show week. Relocation to show site in Pennsylvania Furnace, PA so must have own transportation and full availability during the show week in August.
Individuals interested in event management, communications or marketing experience are preferred. Possessing the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while providing a high standard of customer service delivering large agricultural equipment tradeshow and outreach event, is a must. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Adobe and Filemaker software is required.

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
