About the Job :
This position will provide HR support and guidance to our Morton, IL facility. Our Morton facility is a production, shipping, & receiving warehouse.
Responsibilities :
- Provide HR support and guidance to the business; answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.
- Advise on employee performance and help supervisors with performance related issues.
- Provide support to employees in various HR topics such as leave management and benefits.
- Ensure adequate training in the areas of new employee orientation, safety training, leadership training, etc.
- Manage record keeping of all employee files.
- Generate and provide reports to the HR Manager.
- Staff the site during peak hiring season.
Minimum Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree and two to five years of HR experience.
Strong interpersonal relations skills
Strong communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications :
HR Certified Professional : PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or must willing to obtain a certification.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence.
Experience coaching and mentoring others
Prior training and knowledge in employment law issues
Bilingual
