Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Generates value to the customer and manages the total AgCountry value proposition and business relationship at the individual customer level.
Administers credit by implementing established credit disciplines, processes and policies through delegated loan decisions, loan servicing, and analysis of loans.
Determines closing type, location, and works with Customer Service Representative (CSR) to coordinate schedules (Internal/Title Agency/Attorney) to ensure all parties are informed. Facilitates loan closing.
Develops and executes business and sales plans. Creates and modifies plans for assigned portfolio/territory that summarizes opportunities, threats and needed resources. Produces documented relationship plans for all key customers and prospects. Attains business goals through sales execution. Expectation is to be out of the office and in the marketplace a minimum of one day/week.
Develops and maintains personal and professional skills. Acquires and maintains a high level of knowledge about production agriculture, commodity marketing, agricultural economics,technology and otherspecifics pertinent to the assigned portfolio, industry, segment and/or territory. Expands and maintains up-to-date knowledge of sales and marketing techniques, as well as solid credit skills and relationship building skills.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, agribusiness, or related field; or equivalent work-related experience.
1 – 2 years lending or other related experience.
Knowledge of farming operations, the agriculture industry, finance, and economics.
Knowledge of the financial services industry, commercial banking, and the Farm Credit System.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES
Current crop insurance agent license with strong working knowledge of products preferred.
