We are seeking a Driver / Janitorial Assistant who will spend half of the time serving as a shuttle bus driver for our residents and the remaining time providing janitorial and housekeeping services throughout the property.
The schedule for this full-time position is Tuesday - Saturday. You will take residents to appointments or other requested locations.
You will maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, following schedules for the Shuttle Bus Driver as required.

Responsibilities :
- Drive the bus or car as needed. CDL or Class B (passenger endorsement) is required. A clean driving record essential.
- Assist residents with transportation, including escort services.
- Stay with and attend to residents during appointments if required.
- Follow all laws and Community safety procedures, maintain / clean the Community vehicle, and report any issues.
- Monitor residents’ health and safety, reporting concerns as needed.
- Provide input into resident service plans.
- Assist with janitorial and housekeeping duties as needed.
- Oversee housekeeping and laundry staff as needed.
- Perform laundry and linen services for residents and the Community.
- Respond promptly to work orders and customer housekeeping / custodial service requests.
- Ensure a safe environment for residents; promptly report any unsanitary or unsafe / hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and maintenance needs to the Executive Director.
- Maintain an accurate record of chargeable services (cleaning, personal laundry, etc.) and submit.
- Safely store chemicals and supplies as required; maintain equipment in good working order.
- Follow safety regulations to disinfect accidents involving body waste, blood, or vomit.
- Meet Department standards as outlined in the Quality Assurance Program and help with other duties as assigned.
- Participate in staff, resident, family, marketing, or Company events.
