What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Coordinator position at AGI Post, Inc.?
Job Description: A Material Coordinator is responsible for managing their team of employees to full-fill the workload assigned to their team. The Material coordinator will schedule, assign, re-assign employees to various Operations within their tour of duty. The Material Coordinator is also responsible the the safety of their employees while engaged in daily work task as well as Administrative duties which include, scheduling, corrective actions for non-compliance, time-off request, daily attendance and etc. The Material Coordinator will assist the Primary Material Coordinator in monitoring work floor activity to include receipt and dispatch of mail (dock Operation) Operation overview of employees engaged in work assigned activity ( operations). The Material Coordinator will ensure all Safety and Facility Protocols are followed by all personnel within the facility. Additional duties maybe assigned as needed. Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Well versed computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Work with minimal supervision Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment. Must be able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and ensure deadlines are met. Ability to concentrate on detail. Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. Adhere to safety practices and programs. Ability to multitask. Education and Experience Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or Two years related experience and/or training preferred. Valid US driver’s license. Successful completion of required airport badging process and pre-employment drug screen is required.
