What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at Agile Resources, Inc.?
Our industry-leading client is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team! This role will facilitate Scrum activities while focusing on project initiatives with engineering teams.
Location: This role will be on-site 4 days per week in Englewood, CO.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings. Manage project lifecycles, and collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality solutions in the hardware and server space.
- Manage the team's backlog and prioritize tasks.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and Scrum framework, while defining project scope, creating work breakdown structures, and developing project plans.
- Track progress, manage risks, and mitigate issues.
- Monitor budgets and resource allocation.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaborate with engineers on technical discussions and decisions.
- Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders.
Here is what our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Strong project management and Scrum Master experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification
- Background in working on projects involving hardware, Linux, Storage, Servers, Cloud strategy, Datacenters etc. is preferred
