Efficient production of Microarrays following production and quality requirements. Understand and operate production equipment to meet production goals and recognize manufacturing and quality issues in the process or product.
Follows techniques/process procedures in operating equipment on the manufacturing floor. Assists in the execution of process changes within the manufacturing environment. Produces set-ups and adjustments to equipment or production processes as documented. Solves complex problems requiring breadth/depth of knowledge of work area processes, procedures, objectives and plans.
Working Shift: Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday starting at 4:45 PM to 5:15 AM with a 5% shift differential for working 1 weekend day (Some weeks there could be 4 straight days off!) along with a 15% shift differential for working Overnight.
Required Qualifications:
- May require some higher education or specialized training/certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically, minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a lab/production manufacturing environment.
- Accurate interpretation and execution of work instructions and SOPs.
- Manufacturing oriented (flexibility, work location, hours)
- Ability to make sound and informed decisions and understands when to escalate issues to technicians and/or supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong computer skills utilizing word, excel (minimal requirement)
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (Example: SAP)
- Experience within an ISO13485 and/or QSR environment
