POSITION SUMMARY The Engineering Project Manager will work in collaboration with all stakeholders, define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. This position will lead assigned initiatives from kickoff through successful implementation. They will partner with Strategic Corporate leaders, Engineering, Quality/Regulatory, and Certification teams to create and drive program initiatives, facilitate best practices, and develop project scope to ensure cost, financial, schedule and performance goals are met.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Create and manage multiple complex, integrated project plans utilizing formal Project Management methods
- Develop and drive process controls throughout areas of these projects to ensure development activities meet standards for quality, cost, financial and delivery.
- Prepares executive communication that clearly articulates development priorities, roadmaps, status of initiatives, resource needs, opportunities and/or risks to financial and project plans.
- Incorporate requirements of Leadership, Product Development, Clinical Verification, Quality/Regulatory, and Certification teams to understand and communicate project needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Guide team leaders throughout the project by delegating tasks and coordinating training as needed.
- Lead through strategic change management and provide coaching and application.
- Identify and escalate issues/risks facing development teams and work with cross functional management teams to develop solutions to improve current emergent processes.
- Hold regular meetings to assess project progress, identify interdependencies between development initiatives, secure cross-product line alignments, and rebalance responsibilities.
- Communicate progress and results to internal customers throughout the enterprise on regular basis.
- Ensure projects are planned and executed in-line with the PMO approach:
- Project team roles and responsibilities identified
- Best Practices of tools and resources are utilized consistently
- Risk and Issue identification, escalation
- Deployment planning, management, and transition to live operation
- Operational support plans
- Continuously improve the process by making recommendations for change.
- Maintain consistent messaging throughout including professional communication deliverables.

- Technical Bachelor's degree (BS) required.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in Operations leadership and Project Management.
- Proven versatility in both large and small entrepreneurial organizations as demonstrated by succession in responsibilities and willingness to scale abilities to complete objectives.
- Experience in creating and leading collaborative teams through complex projects.
- Previous experience leading operational integrations of acquired businesses.
- Demonstrated financial acumen.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills working with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in Healthcare product development or similarly Federally regulated field.
- Exceptional skills with Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar PMP software.
- Analytical Thinking - Capable of understanding a technical problem or situation and developing effective solutions.
- Strategic Perspective - Needs to keep overall objectives and strategies in mind, and not be deflected by matters of detail.
- Applying standards - Effective in the application of relevant industry and process standards to all tasks undertaken.
- Industry Developments - Must take initiative to ensure skills and specializations are kept up to date in line with industry developments and ensure that all relevant skill sets are current.
- Ability to manage client needs and relations effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
