PROPOSAL CAPTURE AND WRITER

Location: Remote (with potential to be onsite occasionally or full time as required)
Full Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Agility Consultants is currently seeking an innovative and resourceful Proposal Capture and Writer to join our business development team. This position captures knowledge, builds connections, and works with subject matter experts to develop compelling and winning proposals.

Job Duties:

• Researches and analyzes market-place opportunities
• Fosters relationships and develops a thorough understanding of client needs
• Creates and submits follow up questions on the RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc. as needed
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to gather information for proposal development
• Defines themes, strength statements, and similar strategies
• Identifies and resolves proposal deficiencies
• Collects and builds into the proposal various documents, exhibits, and similar data
• Creates captivating proposals while ensuring all proposals are compliant, accurate and meet defined criteria
• Assists with graphics as needed
• Updates the proposal as needed
• Manages schedules and timelines
• Participates in debriefing sessions after proposal submission

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Business or a relevant field
• Minimum of three years of proposal and knowledge capture and proposal writing for Federal contracts
• Ability to develop and execute capture plans
• Ability to turn capture knowledge and proposal requirements into compelling and winning proposals
• Exceptional technical writing skills
• Ability to take highly technical information and convey it in a clear manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to synthesize information from numerous sources into one comprehensive document
• Proven marketing and sales skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to visualize compelling graphics
• Ability to gather insight and build relationships in the marketplace
• Exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to operate within timelines
• Ability to stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently
