The Job
The Content Marketing Manager oversees content for social media, website, and email marketing efforts. The position is responsible for ensuring that external material is on-brand and industry-suitable. This position is responsible for the strategic planning, writing, and scheduling of all social media accounts, website blog, advertising, blogs, and other marketing/company efforts. To establish, manage, and implement efficient marketing content, the position will engage with various departments internally to prepare marketing communication for two pillars of outreach – lead generation and account retention/growth. This is a dynamic role that demands a team member who can perform well in a variety of work contexts.
What You Will Do
Create and implement digital marketing content strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and conversion.
Plan and manage digital marketing channels such as web, email and social media including email marketing, paid search, affiliate marketing, retargeting and display, social media and blog articles.
Conduct research to discover areas of potential for improving and scaling customer acquisition, increasing market share, and driving growth.
Write for the company blog, create a focus for franchise and independent dealers to obtain industry information, learn about our products/services and to create increased traffic to the blog site.
Create, administer, and keep the digital marketing content calendar and online advertising plan up to date.
Produce reports and evaluate quantitative data to interpret ROI and KPI measurements.
Oversee daily content responsibilities to maintain the seamless operation of the content requirements from a communication and branding standpoint.
Project manage campaigns and initiatives to ensure they are completed on time.
Gather information by interviewing or requesting it from appropriate parties, such as internal subject matter experts or customer feedback.
Assist with the creation of content for one-pagers, brochures, case studies, blog posts, newsletter articles, advertising, social media, and other materials as the Vice President of Marketing directs.
Create strategies to transmit marketing messaging, such as direct mail, email, the web, social media, and video at trade exhibits and events.
Proactively find opportunities to communicate Agora's message effectively.
Maintain and manage project timelines, approvals, and other project-related needs for the Marketing department.
Evaluate content performance and use data to iterate on content strategy to reach the target audience.
Gain a thorough grasp of the client journey and choose the most successful content strategy for each stage.
Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
Are You A Fit?
Must Be Able To
Create, plan, and coordinate social media content, blog articles, website content and email marketing.
Evaluate collateral needs and create new materials as determined or requested.
Understand key corporate and product objectives and convey messages that support them in all marketing material.
Understand customer needs and be able to incorporate a client perspective into communications.
Effectively work with subject matter experts across various departments.
Handle multiple tasks while paying close attention to detail.
Stay abreast of industry and marketing best practices, trends, ideas, tools, and technology.
What You Need
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or business-related fields.
7 years of marketing strategy/communications experience.
Proven positive results defining and managing individual and multi-channel marketing projects.
A good understanding of graphic applications, image/media files, social media, web, media/interactive marketing, etc.
