We are in search of an Accounting Intern to join our Controllers department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the Manager, Accounting and is responsible for supporting the high-quality reporting of the organization's financial information.

Compensation Information

$21.00 per hour

Job Requirements

  • Assist with preparing or posting general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with preparation of financial reporting supporting documents.
  • Perform analysis of loan, general ledger and other financial information.
  • Perform general corporate accounting functions as needed to support operations, including, but not limited to accounts payable, general ledger and fixed assets.
  • Gather required information for internal and external auditors, management, and others.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Junior or Senior status.
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Ag Economics, Ag Business or related field.
  • Coursework related to Accounting and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), creation of financial statements, and the analysis and reporting of financial transactions.
  • Demonstrated communication, analytical and computer skills, and teamwork demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular activities and/or outside work experience.
