ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be responsible for the management and execution of business-critical new product development & product launch projects across the Commercial & Residential resilient business.
- Insuring effective, disciplined, & collaborative efforts among project team and functional support members
- Managing multi-disciplined project teams in the achievement of selected strategic and tactical objectives
- Supporting Product Managers in the development of business case & post launch review documentation as needed
- Supporting business development efforts to reach new customers and to capitalize on new opportunities to gain share with existing customers
- Assisting as needed in preparation for key customer visits to ensure an impactful interaction
- Developing and managing project resource plans through the resource management process
- Achieving targeted cost, schedule, and product performance objectives for selected launch efforts
- Providing leadership for multi-disciplined and geographically separated project teams
- The effective communication of project activities and status to all key business stakeholders as needed
- Analyzing and recommending improvements in the launch process and supporting sub-processes
- Creatively approaching challenges to overcome obstacles that inhibit speed to market without compromising key quality and safety expectations
TRAVEL
- Must be able and willing to travel 10% of the time

- Superior organizational and project management skills with an ability to juggle many activities at once
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong reasoning and logic skills
- A strong desire to learn in support of the overall business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- 5 years related experience, with strong background in manufacturing/flooring industry preferred
- Proven ability to motivate and drive results in positions without 'direct' management control
- Manage project risks, issues, and scope changes effectively
- Excel/Microsoft suite
