What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical and Instrumentation Journeyman position at Ahlstrom?
We are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician/Journeyman to join our team! This individual will perform skilled electrical and instrumentation maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment in our Mosinee, WI plant.
As an E&I Technician, you will:
- Respond to emergency call-ins (available and accept 1 in 4 call time opportunities)
- Ability to accurately maintain record keeping for E/I repairs and maintenance functions
- Must perform housekeeping and maintenance support duties as required
- Utilization of maintenance strategies including preventive and predictive maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must hold a valid journeyman card, indicating successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program;
OR
- Associates Degree in one or more of the following:
- Electromechanical
- Electrical Engineering Technology
- Electrical System Maintenance
- The ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing, drug screen, and physical assessment.
