What’s the role?
We’re looking for a dynamic individual to help advance Life and Retirement’s DEI initiatives and partner with our senior director of Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The ideal candidate will have established credibility in development and implementation of diversity strategies within large and complex organizations and have a track record of success. You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner and team member supporting the vision and strategy for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within AIG . You are detail oriented with a keen ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced and continuously evolving work environment.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Drive projects and initiatives as a self-starter with a strong client relationship focus and outstanding critical thinking and communication skills
- Co-develop the global strategy and vision for D&I enterprise wide, and translate enterprise wide strategies into a regional action plan for adoption.
- Provide deep validated experience, thought leadership, advice, coaching, solutions and consultation to HRBP"s business leaders, D&I champions and the Executive Diversity Council.
- Execute on innovative and customized enterprise-wide or department-specific diversity strategies and tactics that result in driving action and change across AIG.
- Stay up to date with regulatory and policy developments affecting D&I and its implications for the organization
- Collaborate with colleagues across all HR functions, working closely with the HR business partners and teams to improve our organization’s environment and to ensure effective execution of the D&I business agenda.
- Partner with the People Analytics team to identify and analyze workforce diversity data and trends and to support diversity data tracking and scorecards.
- Ensure business alignment with enterprise wide and regional strategies and interventions.
- Manage multiple projects following a matrix model, driving successful outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working in or across Diversity and Inclusion, talent management, and learning and development management
- Demonstrated experience in project management as a lead in a PMO or large-scale delivery of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in the development, management and delivery of workforce related metrics and scorecards
- Great communication, presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting numerical data, and translating analysis into meaningful recommendations and solutions
- Experience working within and navigating a global, matrix environment
- Hands-on experience driving high-impact, large-scale D&I initiatives
- Strong writing ability
