This position is responsible for initial recruitment for high volume positions. This position plays a pivotal role in organizing the logistics of our hiring process, ensuring a positive journey for each candidate from the first interaction to the final interview steps. Your skills in managing calendars and organizing interviews will help us hire people more efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational skills, excellent people and writing skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to multitask seamlessly. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Place, update and manage job postings both internally and externally.
- Provides initial applicant screenings to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
- Participates in career fairs.
- Coordinates all pre-employment background checks, pre-employment drug tests, MVR checks, DOT requirements, and reference.
- Communicates regularly with candidates and employees to promote referral programs.
- Works with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions and fill critical positions as needed.
- Builds networks to source qualified candidates, establishes relationships with trade schools and other avenues for candidate sourcing for positions that are open regularly or continuously. Responsible for pipeline of quality candidates.
- Ensure all onboarding packets are complete, entered into the HRIS system.
- Responsible for onboarding workflow (I-9, background check, etc.), and assists candidates in completing them as needed. Follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other relevant databases. Assist candidates, hiring managers and TA with any questions related to the Applicant Tracking System.
- Serve as primary point of contact for candidates through the recruitment process.
- Facilitates the sourcing of candidates found on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment sites; familiar with search engines: Google Chrome and industry niche job boards. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Cultivates relationships with candidates and specific talent pools, (defined according to company initiatives) to turn applicants from non-active to active candidates.
- Manage talent acquisition materials, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily accessible.
- Ensures compliance with all legal, governmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Train field personnel on recruitment and interviewing processes.
- Responsible for the candidate experience and makes recommendations for improvement to management.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
• 1 year experience with interview logistics and coordination, administrator, or similar role in technical, trade, construction or transportation or related industry.
- Proficiency in maintaining and organizing candidate documentation
- Skilled in data entry and database management for candidate tracking
- Knowledge of document sharing and collaboration tools (SharePoint)
- Proven track record of efficient interview schedule management
- Experience with trade schools and recruiting programs.
- Manage job requisitions, and oversee job postings and field level recruiting process.
- Refine sourcing strategies using various recruiting tools and methods (job boards, social media, company database, networking events, technical schools, etc.).
- Ensure accurate and on-going management of candidate data using the HRIS Applicant Tracking System. (UKG)
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, employment regulations and current recruitment issues, trends, and best practices.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- A pre-employment background check is required for this position.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Must pass a drug test prior to employment and subject to post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing during employment.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year experience as a coordinator or customer service rep. working in technical, trade, construction or transportation or related industry.
- Experience using Outlook and ATS systems. UKG preferred.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
Travel and working conditions:
- Infrequent travel to branch locations and trade schools. Less than 5% per month.
- This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work is performed in a typical office environment and may include national travel. Tasks may require the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 5 lbs, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand.
Salary : $22 - $28
