Job Summary
The NetSuite Developer (Software Developer 2) will work as part of the Enterprise team supporting projects, development and infrastructure teams.
This candidate will work on implementation and customizations of NetSuite ERP/CRM products. The candidate will work closely with BSA team, Project Managers and Enterprise Apps team in executing multiple NetSuite projects and providing technical support. The successful candidate must demonstrate willingness to go the extra mile for the team's success. He/she will be a problem solver, creative thinker, fast learner and be detail oriented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand NetSuite Product suite and can perform hands on development/custom code in extending functionality, workflows, and integration with external systems
- Develop solutions using JavaScript, NetSuite admin tools, SuiteScript, Scheduled Scripts, Suitelets, RESTlets, and User- and Client-Event scripting using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF). The ideal candidate will conceptualize business needs and be able to formulate solutions from both the technical and business points of view.
- Plan, review, revise and execute configurations and customizations of NetSuite
- Understand and act on the capabilities of current applications and how to best leverage them in conjunction with integration and automation.
- Understand various integration methods/technologies and provide support for new and existing integrations
- Develop customized saved searches for shared business user usage and to support integration needs
- Customize forms, including field grouping, and tab design
- Design, configure and publish dashboards
- Provide guidance to users in how to personalize profile preferences, portlets, and dashboards
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
- Must have 3 years of professional experience in following areas
- Hands on experience with JavaScript, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, Scheduled Scripts, Suitelets, RESTlets, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) in past implementation projects
- Experience with Agile Software Development Process
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience in developing solutions using NetSuite SuiteCommerce is a plus
- Experience in .Net and Sql development is a plus
- Solid understanding of information technology processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
