Who We Are Looking For

Jordan Brand is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Partner Rep to manage relationships with strategic wholesale Retail Partners. The role will serve as Jordan Brand’s key business liaison working with Partner Account Buying, Merchandising, Planning, and Operational functions. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the Jordan Brand, has a strong background in Sales, account management, leadership, and excels in building and nurturing relationships with our key retailers. The ideal candidate will also have exceptional multitasking abilities, a high degree of orignizational skills, experience delivering new product stories to the marketplace, analytical skills, and the ability for developing and delivering engaging presentations.

Art and science are interconnected in this role. The ideal candidate will posses strong retail metric understanding and acumen with the ability to manipulate sales data into weekly, monthly and seasonal recaps that derive actionable insights to influence business decsions. In addition, this person is able to manage stock to sales plans, and create recommended strategy and action. On the art side we are looking for candidates who displays knowledge of the Jordan consumer, retail marketplace trends and the competency to drive compelling presentations and storytelling to our retail partners.

What You Will Work On

You’ll serve as the lead point of contact for the Jordan Brand within a specified account base. You will manage account-facing meetings and engagements, partner with internal merchandising functions to bring to market compelling product assortments, lead and manage day to day showroom operations and logistics in addition driving Jordan growth and consumer acquisition through assigned seasonal targets and order reconciliation

A Typical Day/week Looks Like:

  • Accountability – Develop and deliver strategic plans against financial targets
  • Relationship – Serve as Jordan’s primary point of contact with designated retail account partner
  • Integration – Serve as a liaison and advocate for our account partners to our internal Jordan teams
  • Pre-season – Create assortment and sell-in strategy, develop financial forecast for total portfolio, execute partner engagement meetings and marketplace insights
  • In-season – Pursue in-season at-once orders, track sales trends, provide marketplace insights, and ensure minimum advertised price compliance
  • Operational – Ensure orders are entered fully and on time, develop solutions for late or canceled orders and delivery of product
  • Marketing – Help facilitate and ideate on brand marketing moments with specific product launches or assortments
  • Product – Sample management, showroom management and takedown seasonally.

Who You Will Work With

If this is you, you’ll be working with an internal cross-functional team across Marketplace, Merchandising, Planning and Brand Marketing in addition to your Account Buyers, Retail Planners and Leadership teams. You will report into the Jordan Marketplace Director for the Retail Partner.

What You Bring

  • 5-7 years of experience in Sales and/or Merchandising
  • Planning and/or sales analytics is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or 4-year degree, 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. which may include samples and sales materials
  • Any country-specific items required by local laws (check with your local legal partners)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
