Required Qualifications:
- You are a college graduate or have an associate degree in a customer related field
- You are an individual with at least 1-year of inbound and/or outbound customer experience, preferably in the healthcare field (call center, claims, benefits, or healthcare scheduling practices)
- You are passionate about mental health, emotional wellbeing, behavioral health, community resources, healthcare, and / or active volunteerism.
- You are an individual with an obvious sense of urgency and purpose.
- You are someone with demonstrated excellence in providing outstanding customer service over the phone and via email.
- You are motivated to help others. Aligned to our organizational mission and vision.
- You are excited about being the first point of contact and connecting individuals with the support they need to thrive.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills (communication and listening), especially over the phone.
- You are focused and determined, optimistic and creative.

What you’ll do (Essential Job Functions)
The role of a Help Now Resource Specialist is a full-time position. You will work as part of the AiRCare Team. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Answering inbound calls from individuals via phone to provide support according to program requirements.
- Learning, understanding, and navigating employer benefits to solve problems and gain insight for the populations we serve.
- Helping participants better understand the benefits made available to them through their employer ,
- Developing proficiency in various community resources including but not limited to financial, medical, housing, transportation, social services, and primary self-sufficiency needs
- Communicating clearly and passionately to build connections that result in delivering help to those in need and that you will serve.
- Following up with individuals to ensure their needs were met.
- Helping to improve our service model by providing feedback from our clients on our approach and their satisfaction.
- Working closely with a collaborative team of people who want to change the world.
- Being a key contributor to improving the lives of millions of people by acting with a sense of urgency to connect individuals to help.
- Maintaining compliance with confidentiality and privacy requirements, including HIPAA.
- Meeting performance metrics.
