What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Manager position at Aireko?
JOB SUMMARY: A service manager manages the service business unit team and manages customer care interactions, reports, and repairs. The service manager ensures excellent customer service, maintains strong relationships with customers and third-party vendors and ensures repeat customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, manage procurement and execute all work required within assigned region or contracts.
- Supervise and lead technicians to produce high quality projects and services, achieving profit targets.
- Ensure 100% compliance with contract performance, customer satisfaction, and scheduled service completion on time, etc.
- Effective supervision and efficient scheduling of services.
- Supervises sales team activities and its key performance indicators.
- Maximizes manpower utilization and minimizes unallocated time.
- Regularly visits jobs in progress to inspect the quality of work performed and to provide on-the-job training and technical support to field personnel.
- Communicate with existing and potential new customers.
- Responsible for the Profit and Loss, P&L, of it assigned BU.
- Ensure that operational processes are performed aligned with main office: Estimates, Proposals, Booking Packages, Work Orders, Service Reports, Invoices, and Payroll.
- Ensures the quality, standardization, profitability, and timeliness of all service department production, billing, paperwork, project estimates, etc.
- Maintains an adequate level of customer interaction and personal selling activity.
- Maintain a periodic technical training program for the service personnel and recommend latest tools and equipment that will help improve service department performance and effectiveness.
- Prepare operations and sales report monthly.
- Prepare sales or service contracts for products or services.
- Resolve customers’ disputes about services performed.
- Examine and maintain in good working order the vehicle fleet and fixed asset equipment.
- Conduct monthly meetings to reinforce service culture, safety, soft skills, and technical training.
- Promotes “Total Compliance” culture among employees.
- Ensure on time reporting and investigation of Near Misses, Incidents, and Accidents.
- Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, evaluation, and termination as needed.
- In charge of performing employee evaluations, at least once a year.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum experience 5 years in related field
- Decision making and problem solving oriented
- Experience in computer programs, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet.
- Strong English communication, oral and written (bilingual, English, and Spanish, preferred)
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety (OSHA 30 HRS is a plus).
- Able to travel to/from job sites on a regular basis.
- High standards of integrity and professionalism.
