Job Overview
Reports directly to the Director of Project Management. Manage assigned orders to ensure efficient flow through the project and manufacturing process to ensure on time delivery. Contribute to and support the planning and execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Work with estimating and sales to review new orders to determine if original quote is aligned with the actual order. Review Contracts/Purchase Orders.
- Review and Update engineering schedule throughout day
- Work with engineering to build/modify estimated items in JB2 estimating based on material and labor requirements.
- Enter orders in Jobboss2 ERP.
- Review job travelers to ensure information is correct and accurate
- Assist in developing shop drawings for submittal packages approval as needed
- Review shop drawings and specification requirements for compliance
- Send and receive shop drawings/submittal packages for approval
- Submit and manage project RFI’s
- Field measure and coordination information as required with engineer as needed.
- Collaborate with Production Manager for Pre-flighting/scheduling project to determine a completion date
- Assist purchasing to determine when materials are required for fabrication
- Communicate delivery expectations and/or delays with the customer as soon as possible
- Be available after hours via cell phone to respond to project/production related questions and inquiries.
- Coordinate fabrication process flow and monitor schedule to ensure all information is accurate with production manager.
- Trouble shoot all challenges that occur throughout the project
- Visit jobsite to review project progress and jobsite meetings as required
- Follow up with customer to advise them on delivery
- Work with estimating for change orders
- Coordinate with controller for project billings and AIA documents
- Contribute to continuous improvement for internal processes
- Complete close out documents as required.
Qualification
- Experience in managing projects (2 years minimum)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Teams/Office and other basic computer skills
- Autocad 2D and Inventor 3D are not a requirement but helpful
- Must have experience or technical background in manufacturing and fabrication
- Utilize Bluebeam for project document review and management
- Experience with construction document platforms such as Procore and Building Connected
- Experience in ERP Systems (Jobboss2, will train)
- Must be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization as well as in a customer interface – written and verbal.
- Fully vested and focused on the success of the project.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box
- Airtec does not provide cell phone, must have personal phone capable of linking email and texting. Company reimburses use of personal cell phone.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
