Job Description
AISG is searching for a Program Manager (PM) to join our exceptional team. The PM will oversee program management across its life cycle, develop and manage the project budget, and serve as the single point of contact with the customer. The PM will work in a military environment in Norfolk, VA, and will travel occasionally for meetings or events. Remote/telework opportunities may be available.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact to the government for all contractor-to-contractor teaming work arrangements and execution responsible for all aspects of contract support to ensure a balance of efficient and effective operations
- Perform as a technical expert and overall project lead, with responsibilities for project cost, schedule, and performance
- Directly contribute to project definition, development and/or enhancement efforts including cost management, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities
- Establishes and maintains open communication with project stakeholders
- Ensure proper performance of tasks necessary to achieve the most efficient and effective execution and achievement of project objectives
- Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on technical progress, issues, and challenges, as well as write and review technical documents
- Manage assigned projects developing cloud-based integrated data environment and file sharing
- Communicate status with leadership and customers
- Attend/facilitate government and/or contractor meetings and events
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the supply/logistics areas of the contract
- Serve as the subject matter expert and mentor for the advancement of training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in Program Management, managing military or commercial logistics projects
- 10 years of experience in on-shore or afloat supply logistics
- Bachelor's degree is required
- PMP certification desired
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Documented commercial or military management experience supervising logistics project completion and personnel. Examples of Logistics experience include: Successfully managed an ashore or afloat supply department in the military, held positions as a commercial Logistics Industry Officer, and managing personnel, material, and programs
Required Skills:

- Familiarity with project and program management methods and techniques
- Effective leadership and managerial abilities
- Understanding of budgeting and resource allocation processes
- Effective organization and time management skills, able to prioritize and see tasks through to completion with minimal oversight
- Collaborative spirit - ability to effectively communicate and motivate in team settings and across various levels of organization
- Experience determining program objectives, organizing requirements, scheduling projects, and developing standards and guidelines
- Experience leveraging best practices and innovative problem solving, program management and team facilitation
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $83,702.00 - $105,418.00 per year
