Summary
The Administrative Generalist is responsible for clerical duties to include managing timesheets and communicating operational information from the field to corporate, regional management and customers and vendors as needed. This role will require the ability to multi-task and provide back-up assistance when needed to order supplies and PPE, as well as complete and maintain site specific documentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative, customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Submits data entry for railcar billing, working in billing and accounting systems.
- Completes timesheets and payroll for on-site employees.
- Tracks attendance and maintains personnel training files.
- Ensures and maintains employee confidence by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Maintains OSHA / Safety Council records.
- Submits monthly and quarterly updates
- Provides administrative support and back-up assistance to order unit supplies and PPE as needed.
- Makes copies, send faxes, and types of memos.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and all duties as assigned
- Assists with new account/vendor establishment for invoicing at repair locations (submit credit references to potential vendors, assist AP to get vendors setup in SAP, etc.)
- Responsible for vehicle title oversight for any company owned vehicles in the repair network.
- Other duties as needed.
