Job Posting for Sales Representative at AJ's Truck & Trailer Center
We are currently seeking a motivated counter/sales person. We are a dealer specializing in trailer sales, snow plow sales, after-market accessories, A.R.E products and hitches. In addition, we sell parts for all of the above and have an on-site full service shop.
Base pay plus bonus. Work hours include every other Saturday morning 8-12.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet customers, respond to incoming phone calls and emails.
- Assist customers with finding the correct parts for their trailers and snow plows.
- Schedule appointments for customers.
- Order, ship and receive parts while maintaining accurate inventory.
- Learn the details of trailers and snow equipment that we sell.
- Sell trailers, snow equipment, ARE Truck Caps and other lines that we carry.
- Fulfill training certification requirements as needed.
- Help maintain a clean showroom and other assigned duties.
- Continuously refine your skill set.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of automotive mechanical technology, and terminology.
- Knowledge in automotive, trailer and/or snow removal market.
- Outgoing and friendly personality... even under stress of high sales volume.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills... one-on-one, and over the phone.
- Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process.
- Proficient in basic business math, including percentages.
- Capable of learning and using our sales system and other computer programs.
- Persistent, competitive, and good work ethic that focuses on the customer’s needs.
- Experience in sales is preferred but not required.
- Must be a team player.
