Office Manager
The Office Manager is a hands-on management role that will oversee the general administrative function and activities of the office.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily work activities of the office.
- May handle or assist with hiring, discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Performs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
· Creates estimates for proposals and purchase orders
· Accounts Receivables
· Answers phone calls, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
· Maintains office supplies inventory
· Train new office support specialists
· Liaison between AKA and our business partners
· Submits project bids
· Communicates with insurance adjustors
· Maintain Spreadsheet for all DOT drivers
· Schedules jobs and subcontractors for work
· File for business licenses
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Preferred experience with Quickbase and SingleOps or similar systems.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
· At least three years of administrative and clerical experience preferred.
· At least one year of accounts receivable experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
