Head Bartender

AKA University City is hiring for a Head Bartender with 2 years’ bartending experience!

We are looking for an enthusiastic Head bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Head bartenders are usually in charge of the main bar area in a restaurant that serves alcohol. Head bartenders report to the F&B manager, yet are in charge of overseeing the other bartenders' performance and schedules. Head bartenders also must be able to perform the same functions as the other bartenders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preform daily and weekly inventory. Conduct monthly inventory and submit to management.
• Create a seasonal drink menu.
• Place orders for all bar related items.
• Help in planning and executing programming of the lounge and Bar.
• In charge of maintaining daily and weekly side work including cleaning menus, putting away tools, washing and polishing all glassware, organizing the IT room, etc.
• Prepares mixed drinks by selecting and mixing ingredients according to recipes.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and a “can do” positive attitude.
• Projects a professional and polished image that inspires confidence and trust.
• Is team-oriented and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.
• Understands the job, its duties, and its role in the organization.
• Servsafe Certified preferred.
• Completed TIPS Training preferred.
• At least 2 years of previous bartender experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Stand, bend, stretch, lift items and moves intermittently during working hours.
