Akkodis is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to work as Medical Equipment Unpackers on an short term on-call / daily basis.
This role involves visiting hospitals and medical facilities to unpack and organize boxes of medical equipment as needed.
This position is not full-time and offers flexible work hours, with shifts scheduled based on demand.
Pay : up to $23 per hour worked
Onsite : Lexington, KY
Key Responsibilities :
Visit assigned hospitals and medical facilities to unpack boxes of medical equipment.
Carefully handle and organize unpacked items, ensuring they are properly stored or stacked as instructed.
Dispose of packaging materials in accordance with facility guidelines.
Communicate with on-site staff to ensure proper placement and handling of equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Report any issues or discrepancies with equipment to the supervisor.
Qualifications :
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs..
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable transportation to various work sites.
Valid Drivers License
Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including the ability to respond to short-notice assignments.
Previous experience in a similar role or in a healthcare environment is a plus but NOT REQUIRED.
Work Schedule :
Temperory / short term project based.
This is on-call / daily work.
Work hours and days will vary based on demand.
There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week.
Compensation :
Up to $23.00 hourly and will only be provided for the hours worked.
