Alaant Workforce Solutions is hiring a full-time, direct hire HR Generalist for a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting their clients with benefits and insurance needs.
Our client is seeking a highly organized individual with effective written verbal communication skills. This requires the candidate to be a team player, friendly, have a strong sense of confidentiality, and excellent at multitasking.
Hours and Benefits for the HR Generalist:
Monday—Friday, 35-hour work week!
HYBRID opportunity!
On-site 2 days, 3 from home
Contributes up to 85% of health insurance costs
Free Dental Vision Insurance
401(k) retirement plan with potential 4% match
11 paid holidays 1 floating
20 days of personal time for new hires
Salary: $55-60k
Responsibilities for the HR Generalist:
Assist employees daily with HR benefits and payroll needs!
Oversee the bi-weekly payroll for staff via Paylocity
Develop modules including performance, benefits, community, and time labor
Process benefits enrollments and terminations
Communicate benefits to employees
Track employee time accrued, holidays, bereavement, etc. to accurately reflect records
Ensure 401k deposits and loans are paid
Maintain HRIS data including new hires, transfers, terminations, and salary changes
Onboard new hires
Assist in planning of special events, employee handbook, and wellness/staff training
Perform assistance to HR Senior Director for any additional assigned duties
Requirements for the HR Generalist:
3-5 years of human resources, payroll, and/or benefits experience
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
Experience using Paylocity or similar payroll systems
