Details
- Respond to sales related inquiries from territory sales managers (TSM), dealers and customer / end-users regarding product support, specifications, training and product availability in a courteous and timely manner.
- Review specification documents and work with TSM's and dealers on specification changes and pre-bid work-ups.
- Monitor bid boards and inform designated TSM of possible leads, accepted orders and quotations.
- Assist the National Sales Manager and the TSM's when necessary in preparing and forwarding quotations to dealers and end users.
- Assist the National Sales Manager and the TSM's when necessary in preparing responses to RFB's and RFQ's
- Prepare and maintain product configurator files for use in pricing and order entry process.
- Enter and track whole goods orders in the production system.
- Maintain published price list documents; responsible for processing updates and distribution to sales force and dealers.
- Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
- Management of all support functions relating to OPE including but not limited to order processing.
- Assist in dealer contract and agreements with the credit manager.
- distribution to dealers as needed.
- Be cool. Weather, market conditions and the competitive nature of this business requires flexibility and frequent realignment of schedules and strategies.
- Travel as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s) :
1. Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written
2. Ability to speak effectively
3. Must be able to prioritize work schedule, work under pressure in a face paced environment, and meet goals / objectives
4. Ability to problem solve, persuade, and motivate are essential
5. Demonstrate proficiency with current computer systems including JDE, DC Service Center, TermSync, Wells Fargo, Transform, Excel, Reports Now, etc
6. Excellent computer and math skills required
7. Ability to read and interpret reference books, price books, parts listings, and other informational resources
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or GED certificate required. Associates degree preferred
- Minimum 1 2 years of experience in a Sales / Marketing / Customer Relations / Service environment.
- Knowledge of farm equipment preferred
- Knowledge of inventory system preferred
- Previous knowledge of Dixie Chopper products a plus
Working Conditions :
This position will generally work in an indoor office environment with frequent sitting for extended periods of time. Occasionally they may be exposed to a manufacturing environment including noise and outdoor environment.
This position is sedentary which includes exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Use of vision, hearing, keyboarding, and verbal communication is required.

Overview
Under general supervision, the CSR- Inside Sales provides sales support to customers, end-users, territory sales managers and dealers by providing efficient, courteous service and accurate information regarding product availability, wholegoods pricing, problem solving and lead times for expected delivery(s).
Additional responsibilities include specification writing, bid reviews and bid response preparation. Coordinates activities and processes to increase sales, maximize margins and improve service within the RhinoAg / Dixie Chopper line and our dealer network.
