Fiber To The Home Installers (FTTH)
Alamon has opportunities for technicians with fiber-to-the-home experience. The technicians will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of cabling in residential and commercial environments. This includes termination and testing of low voltage/network cabling and fiber optic cables.
Wage range from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
The individual in this position will work with the other technicians to accomplish fiber to the home installation activities including:
Alamon has opportunities for technicians with fiber-to-the-home experience. The technicians will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of cabling in residential and commercial environments. This includes termination and testing of low voltage/network cabling and fiber optic cables.

Responsibilities:
The individual in this position will work with the other technicians to accomplish fiber to the home installation activities including:
- Climbing ladders, work in attics, crawl spaces in customers’ homes
- Capable of installing Cat 5E cables, modems, set-top boxes, routers, power supplies, etc.
- Respectful to customers and team members
- Wear appropriate safety equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures
- Knowledge of telecommunications, fiber, CATV, and data cabling installation tasks
- Understanding and following company policies
Qualifications:
- Must have General Computer skills
- Must have a valid driver license with a clean MVR
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check
- Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions and work orders
- Must be safety conscious
Physical Requirements:
- Work outside in all types of weather
- Must be able to lift and carry an 80-pound ladder and meet ladder safety requirements
- Must be able to work at heights of 3-25 ft.
- Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day
